Three for Five

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Three for Five is a ska-punk band from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania that draws influences from many genres of music. Although they started as a high school band, they have already played dozens of shows and have big plans for the future. With members Matt Madonna, Jake Zenisek, Jason Kim, Jack Weber, Tony Adetayo, Sanjay Yeleswaram, Jeff Hauptschien, Bryan Moriarty, Joey Kitching, and PJ O'Sullivan, Three for Five always has a blast and kills any show they play.

HEADLINER
Entropy

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Initially started in the spring of 2013 by Kyle Fisher, Entropy began as a short term trio who never even got out to play a show. The group consisted of Landenberg, PA's Kyle Fisher, Dan Panczner, and Stephen Lyons. From the very first practice, it was apparent that the three had a wrought iron musical connection; they could feed off of each other and jam out improvised songs for hours on end. Bringing together a plethora of rock, hardcore, and pop influences differing not only in genre but also in age, a unique double edged heavy and rebellious, yet ambient and euphoric musical blend was created. After a few short months of playing together Stephen moved to Montana, Dan was sent away to live near Trenton, New Jersey, and Kyle was taken out of school and held away for the summer. They were all hundreds of miles apart in totally different worlds, yet, they all still kept in contact. As the 2013 summer began to come to an end, Kyle and Dan finally were able to meet up for the first time in months. Stephen decided to stay out west, but the two remaining members were still very interested in keeping their infant group alive. The decision was made that Dillon Camac, a friend and former bandmate of both Kyle and Dan, would take the place of Stephen. Rehearsals with Dillon began in the fall of 2013, and the group began recording their debut EP shortly after along with producer Kenny Eaton of Mystery Ton Studios. Following the successful release of the Philadelphia trio's debut effort, Curve EP, the band parted ways with bassist Dan Panczner. Reasons for his departure are, and will be, kept personal. Longtime friend of Kyle's, Mike Rogers, joined Entropy in June of 2014 only days before departing on their first tour. Following the completion of two summer tours in support of their debut record, the writing of new material has begun with Rogers and a new record, as well as much more, is already in the works.
Entropy is currently in the process of writing new material, rehearsing, promoting Curve EP, locking down regional / local shows, and preparing for the rest of their highly anticipated upcoming 2014 year.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Prepare to have your face melted by Chester County music scene royalty. RTBR is made up of members of the soulful organ trio "TheSermon!" and "Mason Porter" and other veteran players of music from metal to medieval. This is by no means a traditional blues band- these guys take the blues, ball it up, light it on fire, and throw it at the audience by way of outer space. Rob Mastrippolito and Paul Wilkinson's contrasting yet complimentary guitar styles are spun out further by Biff McNeil's insane saxophone wanderings and held together by the rhythm section of Tim Celfo on bass and Pat Hughes on drums.

Chapel Street Junction
WEBSITE

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Chapel Street Junction is a 6 piece acoustic band hailing from the city of Newark, Delaware.  Covering musical genres such as Americana, Bluegrass, Irish and Old Time Country, CSJ was formed in 2005 by Paul Sedacca (banjo/ harmonica) & Scott Perlot (rhythm guitar).  The band has had several line-up changes over the years, however, their passion for performing great traditional and original music has kept Chapel Street going full steam ahead.   In addition to Sedacca & Perlot, the current line-up includes Ron Beard (mandolin/lead guitar), Tammy Perlot (stompbox/washboard/bells), Suzanne Ludwig (fiddle) and John Lukawski (stand-up bass).  Most of Chapel Street's original music has been penned over the years with the current band and from other musical projects with Sedacca & Perlot.   Influences include Doc Watson, Hank Williams, The DropKick Murphys and The Avett Brothers to name just a few.   Chapel Street is a band with traditional bluegrass instrumentation and a rock-n-roll attitude.  This band likes to keep the door 'wide open' when it comes to musical performance and improvisation.    "We enjoy playing and listening to Americana music," says Scott Perlot, lead singer of CSJ.  "Something about a banjo and a fiddle that just transports you to another place.  You don't have a care in the world and can't contain yourself!"  You can find the band performing anywhere from The DogfishHead Pub in Rehoboth Beach,DE to their mainstay at The HomeGrown Café in Newark,DE.   The band will be recording new material in early 2015 with the current line-up.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Five musicians from seemingly unrelated genres came together to form the Band of Rivals. The collaboration began with Sean Cox bringing some material he had recorded to his companions Abbey Reed and Alex-Michael Alleva. The trio began producing a unique blend of folk, jazz, and rock. Soon after playing a handful of shows together, the threesome agreed that they should find a bassist and drummer to round out and complete their ensemble. These two additions were found in Doug Keller on bass and Greg Ondo on drums. They are currently working on their second studio album with hopes of releasing it in early 2015.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Singer-songwriter Dan May's career path has taken more twists and turns than a corkscrew in a hurricane. He has worked as a grave-digger, television cameraman, short-order cook, nuclear missile security guard, gas station attendant, ice cream truck driver, delivery man, amusement park worker and greenhouse laborer; all before the age of 25.

While studying music composition in college, he inadvertently stumbled upon an international opera career that forced him to leave a promising future as a songwriter behind. Cut to 15 years later, and after a vocal chord surgery that left him no longer able to meet the demands of opera, Dan returned to doing what he does best; writing and performing his own songs.

Since his crossover from classical to popular music, Dan has hit the ground running. With three critically acclaimed albums already under his belt, his latest release, Dying Breed, has quickly become his most successful project to date.

Rob Robinson

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Rob Robinson is an American singer/songwriter, guitarist and drummer. He has played a variety of musical styles over the years including jazz, rock, pop and blues. Rob's musical roots were largely based on his involvement with drum corps from the age of nine into his late teens. He was a 3-time national snare drumming champion by the time he reached the age of twenty-one. Rob's interest in popular music took hold during his early twenties as his passion for drumming led him to form several original projects in and around the Philadelphia area. He would eventually go on to tour and record with roots based artist Ben Vaughn, who according to Rob influenced many of his views on music and pop culture. As Vaughn's band toured the US and Europe extensively, Rob was introduced to a variety of new music and artists including the likes of John Hiatt and Alex Chilton. These influences would have a profound impact and change on the direction of Rob's music and ideas. His passion would soon shift from drumming to slinging a guitar and telling stories. Rob began his new journey into songwriting while continuing to drum for many artists around the Philly area including Suzanne Gorman and Amy Carr. In 2009 Rob began work on his first solo CD and in the fall of 2013 "Catchin a Ride" was released. Since then Rob has taken his music on the road to many US cities including New York, Philadelphia, Nashville and Memphis.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Billy freeze has been writing and recording professionally for the past 20 years . His first national release "Shelter" was critically acclaimed and sold throughout the U.S.. His Most recent effort -'Scalp of the world' encompasses Billy enlisting long time friend and fretless bass player Steven Lewis Smith. Together they have conjured an earthy and lyrical collection of unbroken spells with an eclectic blend of unique instruments. Billy's musical landscape is accomplished by his use of a three string electric dulcimer blended with Steven Lewis Smith's fretless bass playing. ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Kategory 5 is a powerhouse collaboration of some of the area's most experienced musicians.  Covering a wide range of genres, their goal is to provide a full course feast for the ears.
Kat Pigliacampi (lead and backing vocals and keyboards), originally from Delaware has been a Chadds Ford resident for 12 yrs.  She has been in numerous regional bands, and community theatre for over 30 years.  She has shared the stage with notable musicians and actors from NYC to DC.  The 70's/80's show is her favorite – since she performed many of these songs when they were 'new'!
Kyle Frederick (bass guitar)is a Delaware native and has been playing the bass for over 25 yrs.  His previous projects include the local bands 13th Floor , No Comment , Monster Joe, Goodfellas and Echoes (Pink Floyd tribute).  Kyle is the band ornament and scapegoat – aka 'Karl Leah Karloff'
Andy Logue (lead guitar, lead and backing vocals), has been playing guitar for 44 yrs, taking up the acoustic guitar at age 6 even though his mom said he'd never stick with it! Nevertheless, Andy took lessons until he caught his teacher playing "Stairway to Heaven" and the rest is history.  Andy is deeply immersed in local music and plays guitar with KRUSH, the area's premier Rush Tribute band.  His quick wit and humor almost surpass his musical talent!
Al Mullins (drums, lead and backing vocals), a Delaware native, started playing drums at 7 yrs old.  His previous projects include Monster Joe, and 13th Floor.  Al is the stabilizing force in the band.  He is the keeper of the remote for the 3 members who need a shock collar.
John Cassidy (lead and backing vocals, guitar, keyboards) was born a musical virtuoso.  A Delaware native, he has been active in local music since 1981 as a performer, writer, and visionary.  He has mastered all band instruments, having played drums originally in the Pink Floyd Tribute band 'Echoes'.  John is a gifted composer as well as the band musical director.  John's talents also include giving the 'stink eye' when a member gets out of line.
John, Kyle and Al were all in the band 13th floor together – back when mullets were actually in style.   John and Kyle are the owners of Crazy Diamond Recording Studio in Newark, DE.
Be a part of something special at this exclusive debut and join Kat, John, Andy, Al, and Kyle for an unforgettable evening of musical nostalgia and humor.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Christine Lavin, a solo artist, and a part of one of the many shows she has put together over the years, The Bitchin' Babes, On a Winter's Night, Laugh Tracks, One Meatball, Just One Angel, ran the Martha's Vineyard songwriters Retreat, etc….she is an icon in the singer/songwriter world…a legend…and deservedly so. Quick, insightful, contemporary.

Don White…Christine calls him a " blue collar intellectual," which is about as good a description as I can think of. He worked in stand up, He worked in the folk circuit, He is a student of performance art; how and why it works…in fact he teaches it. He tells stories, alone or in song….think Will Rogers, Mark Twain..or better, David Sedaris..all unique humorists that use laughter and insight to touch a deeper chord. Think Don White.

The show is fresh, smart….funny and touching. It will have audiences rolling in the aisles and crying with laughter, and moved with…the humanity of Christine & Don.

Angelo M.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
"ANGELO M. MADE OUR JAWS DROP When He Sat Down & Blistered the Frets..." - Acoustic Live
After a mill bankruptcy cost him his pension, Angelo M. (short for Melasecca) made the unlikely transition from steelworker to touring artist. With a Rootsy, Bluesy sound n Witty sense of humor Angelo M.'s a favorite at festivals & listening rooms: reviews hail him, "a Brilliant Guitarist" with "an Excellent Voice", and audiences from NY to CA have honored him with standing ovations. It's no surprise with influences like Chet Atkins, Ry Cooder, Duane Allman, & Leo Kottke that Angelo M.'s a Master finger style & slide guitarist/Dobro player, but there's more than just guitar hero flash here… Angelo M.'s a multi-award winning songwriter holding honors from the Prestigious Mountain Stage NewSong Contest; Billboard's World Song Contest n more. He's a humble, hardworking man who spent decades in a PA steel mill, but there's nothing understated about the talent of this bluesy virtuoso player and award winning writer; armed with a six string, Dobro & harp, he's down n dirty, no holds barred – an authentic link in the American Roots chain as a singer, player & writer.
