ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The best Tribute to the "BOSS" Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. They are so good that STEVEN VAN ZANDT, MAX WEINBERG, and the late CLARENCE CLEMONS have performed with this act. The B-Street Band first performed as "Backstreets, a Tribute to the Boss" on May 19, 1980 in Asbury Park, NJ for an audience of over 2000 Bruce fans. From the heart of the Jersey shore, "Backstreets" was the first band in the world to do a unique tribute to a live performer. There are now an estimated 14,000 tribute bands following their lead and performing all over the world. Nearly 5,500 performances and 34 years later, the B-Street Band is still the hardest working tribute band on the circuit, with almost 200 shows per year throughout the country.

No Good Sister

ABOUT THE ARTIST
No Good Sister is a Rootsy-Bluesy Americana vocal trio out of Philadelphia, PA.
In the Fall of 2012, a mom, a teacher, and a waitress, decided to turn their mutual admiration for each other's music, writing and voices into a musical project that would both showcase them as individuals, but especially highlight their deep affinity for tight 3-part harmonies.
Since the formation of No Good Sister, just under two years ago, they have solidly found their place in the Philly music scene by frequently performing in Philadelphia's most popular music venues: World Cafe Live, both in Philadelphia and Wilmington, Boot & Saddle, The Tin Angel, Fergie's Pub, The Fire, Underground Arts, Milkboy Philly, Ortliebs, The Trocadero, Silk City to name just a few, and appear regularly in the Four Seasons Lounge. Live radio appearances include WXPN's Folk Show with Gene Shay, "Live from the Kelly Writer's House" moderated by Michaela Majoun, Dan Reed's "Like a Version"; "Hometown Heroes" on Wilmington's 93.7 WSTW, "Radio Nowhere" with Joltin' Joe on New Jersey's WMSC 90.7FM - to name just a FEW! Radio stations up and down the East Coast have been spinning their first self titled EP, produced EP (produced by their lap-steel player, Mike "Slo-mo" Brenner), and it has even had several spins in the UK.
In January of 2014, they were selected by World Cafe Live at The Queen as the Unsung Hearo standout performer of 2013, and won a slot in Hearo.fm's 2014 SXSW showcase. Rock On Philly included their single "Look Good on Paper" on their Best of Philly 2014 Playlist. 2015 is off to a great start with a full calendar of tour dates, and have been hailed as "Artist to Watch for 2015" by 21st Century Media's David Wannop. The coming year will see No Good Sister touring quite a bit more, after having played several successful shows in New York City, Washington, DC, Wilmington, DE, and the surrounding Philadelphia suburbs in 2014.

Skip Dennenberg - Lauren Hart - Jim Femino

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

These 3 have combined to writre #1 hit songs, theme music for tv shows and movies. performed and toured with some of the biggest recording artist.

Skip Dennenberg:
The musical director for 94.1 WIP SPORT RADIO and the composer of the theme song for the movie " INVINCIBLE".  It isn't writing the theme song "Don't Bet The Farm" that Skip Denenberg remembers most about Farm Aid. Nor is it playing the song for over 5000 people with Willie Nelson and the band backing him up, nor being described by Willie as one of his favorite new songwriters, nor even sharing the stage with his heroes Steve Earle, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp. The most memorable moment for Skip came after the show when the caterer approached him backstage to tell him how much Skip's songwriting had touched him, and he just had to come back and tell him so. This is the magic of Skip and his music -- honest, powerful songs that brush against the elusive common nerve that every songwriter seeks to tap. Compared by some to Lyle Lovett, Bruce Springsteen, and early John Cougar, Skip's music has a distinct American feel that seems instantly familiar and comfortable. As a film and television composer, Skip has scored programs and promos ranging from Sesame Street to Olympic reels, and was a contributing writer for this years 2012 Grammy winning Best Children's Album, along with being nominated for 7 Mid-Atlantic Emmys in the last decade. He has shared stages with such artists as Willie Nelson, Donovan, John Oates, Warren Zevon, Richie Havens, Steve Earle, Dar Williams, Al Kooper, Steve Forbert, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ron Sexsmith, the Saw Doctors, the Neville Brothers, and many others. He is the songwriter for the Philadelphia Phillies, and regularly heard on WIP's Sports Radio's Morning show with Angelo Cataldi. Praised by artist Peter Himmelman as "an organic songwriter of the finest caliber" and by music critic, Chris Smith as "proof that there is hope for the American song," Skip is earning a loyal following everywhere he plays, one fan at a time.

Lauren Hart
WEBSITE

Lauren is the long-time voice of the Philadelphia Flyers, a recording artist, TV and film composer, and champion of life all over the world. Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on January 10. Fell in love with music and singing by second grade, chose my career. Won the LA Cinema Film Festival Award for Best Documentary, RACE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE EARTH. Honored with the American Cancer Society Friends Humanitarian of the Year award. 2009-2010 Flyers reach the Stanley Cup Finals, just fall short, heartbreak. Adopted four BEAUTIFUL and SWEET children from Ethiopia - three girls and one baby boy - instant family, love. Helped create and wrote the soundtrack for the TV show DANGEROUS GROUNDS (which by chance stars my man). Released my fifth CD, AWAKENING.

Jim Femino
Jim Femino is a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter most known for his oh-so-sexy love songs and comedic live shows. "JUST GOT STARTED LOVIN' YOU", a song of his, as recorded by Warner Bros. artist James Otto stands as the 2008 Billboard Most Played Country Song Of The Year and his associations with other Country superstars such as Toby Keith, Ronnie Milsap, John Michael Montgomery and others have garnered him numerous Gold and Platinum Sales Awards. But to really know the magic of Jim, you've got to hear him sing his own songs live. Or as Jamey Reilly of Jamey's House Of Music In Philadelphia said after one of Jim's shows there: "Jim Femino is at the same time a breath of fresh air and a throwback to the days when entertainers had real talent. He is an absolute musical genius with a voice that just comes out of nowhere and lays you out flat. To top it off, he can tell stories with the ease of a Garrison Keillor, that pull you right in and have you falling out of your seat. If you get the chance to see this man perform, cancel whatever plans you had, and buy a front row ticket… you'll thank me!"

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Jon Herington has been the guitarist of choice with Steely Dan for both touring and recording since 1999 and the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the New York City based JON HERINGTON BAND. Jon's newest solo release, "Time On My Hands," (nominated for Vintage Guitar Magazine "ALBUM of the YEAR" for 2013 Hall of Fame) reflects the bluesy, driving rock that had its gestation in the club scene. THE JON HERINGTON BAND is currently the hard-hitting, stripped-down power trio, with a blues/rock/pop "roadhouse" vibe. There is plenty of killer guitar for fans of Jon's playing, though never at the expense of the songwriting which remains focused, thoughtful and fun. All three band members sing, providing a much bigger sound than a typical trio. Jon has often spoken of the first three albums he bought as a youngster: Cream's "Disraeli Gears;" Hendrix's "Are You Experienced;" and the Beatles' "White Album;" iconic recordings that continue to influence his sound and approach. The undeniable chemistry of THE JON HERINGTON BAND has been built on a lifetime of collaboration with bandmates Dennis Espantman (bass, vocals) and Frank Pagano (drums, vocals) and is clearly evident in their catalog of songs. After years of playing the supporting (though highlighted) role, Jon steps forward with his trio as a world class guitar player with chops, taste, and much to say. Jon has also toured with Donald Fagen; Boz Scaggs; Bette Midler; the Jim Beard group; The Blue Nile; Phoebe Snow; Madeleine Peyroux; Bobby Caldwell; Catherine Russell; Rob Morsberger; saxophonist Bill Evans; the contemporary jazz superband Chroma; Lucy Kaplansky (of Cry, Cry, Cry); jazz/blues organ great Jack McDuff; and most recently with The Dukes of September, a supergroup with Donald Fagen, Boz Scaggs, and Michael McDonald.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Is there a better way to celebrate Mothers' Day Eve than being entertained by a collection of funny, dorky, and super-talented musicians? (Probably.) Let's face it: Your mother does not want to go to another overpriced, overcrowded, undercooked, and unoriginal brunch. Instead, show her that she raised you to be a creative, outside-the-box thinker! Take yer sainted mudder (and the rest of the family) to the Kennett Flash on the night before Mother's Day for one great show! Come share a lovely Saturday night in May with three of the region's funniest comedy musicians: Todd Chappelle, Hot Breakfast!, and their good pal Em McKeever. Even if you don't bring mom, you'll have a wonderful time. (Especially if you remember to BYOB.)

Todd Chappelle is a comedy songwriter who does a mix of funny original songs and parodies. His music has been heard on The Dr. Demento Show, CNN Radio and Good Day Philadelphia, along with radio stations in PA, NJ and DE.  With a quick wit and a powerful voice, Todd is a dynamic live act who has performed at the New York Funny Songs Festival, the Philadelphia Funny Songs Festival, the Chicago Comedy Rock Festival, and NYC's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. He's the "I'm From Delaware" guy.

Hot Breakfast! is Delaware's Premier Acoustic Dork-Rock Power Duo. Jill Knapp and Matt Casarino have performed their original, rockin', and dorky music throughout the local Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey scenes, and all across the country, too. This year, they played a string of shows at SXSW in Austin for the second year in a row, Their songs have been played on SiriusXM, The Dr. Demento Show, and 93.7 WSTW. They've picked up WSTW "Homey" Awards for Best EP, Best Lead Singer (Jill), Best Songwriter (Matt), Best Collaboration (with their friend and hero Todd Chappelle), and Best Live Act. They recently recorded a song with the legendary satirical punk band The Dead Milkmen, and the recording sessions were turned into a documentary coming out this spring.

Em McKeever is a classical guitarist gone haywire, a down-to-earth troubadour of Delaware's campgrounds and farmers markets. For this special comedy showcase, she'll sing about stinkbugs, croon about coffee, and... something about automatic toilets?

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Thursday, August 8th, 1974. President Richard M. Nixon resigns, and The Sin City Band played their very first show kicking off a 3 day run at Dimitris' Restaurant on old rt.9 between Henniker and Hillsboro, New Hampshire. After the ex-pres signed off, SCB signed on with The Eagles "Take It Easy" (2nd song was "White Line Fever" by Merle Haggard...). Moving to The Brandywine Valley in August, 1975, SCB has played from The Grand Opera House to The Grand Bahamas... from the Rocky Mountains to the Hills of Kennett Square (hello Barnwood Tavern!). Playing all the many American genres (with their original, beloved "country-rock" leading the way), and with the usual shifts in personnel, the core remains founder Scott Birney, David Berry (1975), and Steve Hobson (1976). Jim Ficca joined in 1985 and Alan Berdoulay first sat in around the turn of the century. The fellas feel that there is no better place to kick off their 40th anniversary summer than at The Kennett Flash. As with any Sin City show, expect the unexpected with special guests and a musical grab-bag of original songs and favorite standards. Here's to the next 40!

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Since 2012 Pure Jerry has had one goal: to bring life and spirit to the music we all love, Garcia. What began as the group motto has become a vision as well as the Pennsylvania band's marquee name. For the members of Pure Jerry, it remains all about playing great Garcia songs, pure and simple. Led by veteran jam musician Michael Morrow, the band explores a vast and classic songbook, showcasing versatile and fierce musicianship, and renowned signature vocals, uncanny, haunting and unmatched.
A powerful group that can switch from early Keystone era material to classic 90s Jerry Garcia Band shows, Pure Jerry plays classic albums and shows in their entirety as well as the occasional Grateful Dead Garcia tune and does it all with a passion and energy that is first class. Led by Michael's soaring Garcia style runs, the band can instantly turn a magical corner, jamming in and out of the best songs imaginable. With a combined lifetime of Grateful Dead experience and pedigree, Pure Jerry lets the music do the talking.
Pure Jerry has headlined many festivals including Kind Roots 5, Soupergroove, Goodtimes Getdown, Groovelink Harvest, Opple Topple, Who Hill Family Campout, as well as many large venues like New Year's Eve at Triumph Brewpub in New Hope, DE, World Cafe at the Queen in Wilmington, DE, Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, PA, and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia where they teamed up with good friends Box Of Rain for a sold out performance on Garcia's birthday, August 1 in 2014. Pure Jerry brings the authentic sounds of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, expertly weaving between the iconic musicians' many styles and eclectic song selections.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

"Despite his success and sense of history, Mr. Paul remains an artist with his eye on the future and an interest in discovering the transformative potential in his music." - The New York Times

Some artists document their lives through their music. Others chronicle their times. It’s a rare artist who can do both, telling their own story through songs that also encapsulate the essence of people and places who have helped define their era overall. Woody Guthrie comes to mind, and so does Bob Dylan. Bruce Springsteen certainly as well. Yet few others, for whatever genius they may possess, can relate their own history to the history experienced by those who find that common bond, be it in a coming of age, living through the same realities or sharing similar experiences.

Ellis Paul is one of those gifted singer/songwriters.Though some may refer to him as a folksinger, he is more, for lack of a better word, a singular storyteller, a musician whose words reach out from inside and yet also express the feelings, thoughts and sensibilities that most people can relate to in one way or another, regardless of age or upbringing. The exhilaration of the open road. A celebration of heroes. The hope for redemption. Descriptions of those things that are both near and dear. The sharing of love..., intimate, passionate and enduring.
