The Kennett Flash is proud to present ROUND ONE of our 2024 New Summer Sounds Series: ALT ROCK BATTLE!The 2024 New Summer Sounds Series is designed to highlight new local artists and provide a professional venue to showcase their talent as they compete in a Battle of the Bands format show for a $400 grand prize, 4 hours of recording time at the Mattock School of Music, and a chance to headline their own performance at The Kennett Flash!Featuring: Georgia Owen, North of tha Cove, and MESH.SUNDAY, JUNE 23$5 all tickets | $5 BYOB7pm show | 6pm doorsall agesGEORGIA OWEN: Raised from the influence of Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac and Sheryl Crow, Georgia’s songwriting carries her Jersey influence, creating real, straightforward, and sometimes brutally honest lyrics. The stories behind her songs offer unique and surprising topics that range from upbeat songs that make you dance in the living room to songs for a long drive. Owen is a singer-songwriter and emerging artist from Allentown, New Jersey.NORTH OF THA COVE: Solo project with some friends helping to even out the sound live, North of tha Cove is inspired by Twenty One Pilots, BoyWithUke and Paramore.MESH: Originating in Wilmington, DE, MESH gets its name through their blending of rock and roll, grunge, metal, indie and punk. Featuring Dylan Manarang on lead guitar accompanied by Calus Ahumada on ornamental guitar, and the rhythmic elements of Jarai Sampath on bass and Ben Sklodowski on drums. Vocal performances from Ben and Dylan, with Calus providing accompaniment, all blending seamlessly to create MESH.———————————————-A processing fee of $1.50 per ticket will appear on your order at check out. This fee is waived when you purchase tickets in person or over the phone or at the door on the night of the event. Call 484-909-3313 for large group purchases and reservations. B.Y.O.B. POLICY: The Kennett Flash is a B.Y.O.B. facility for most events. We choose to operate a B.Y.O.B. establishment to maintain the clean, noise-free, all-ages environment of a listening room while simultaneously allowing our audience members to save money on drinks by letting them provide their own preferred beverages. Every B.Y.O.B. fee helps the Kennett Flash achieve our mission. The Kennett Flash B.Y.O.B. fee is $5 per person who is drinking. B.Y.O.B. is limited to one bottle of wine or one six pack per person. Two persons sharing one six pack or bottle of wine is still $5 per person. The Kennett Flash has the authority to inspect all packages at the door. No hard liquor allowed. Glasses and corkscrew provided.
