Traveled over seas a few times and fell in love with Opera. But once it came to graduating Highschool it was evident that Rock was where she needed to be. Moved to Delaware from Vegas in 2015 and finally found a guitar player in Mike. MONO THEORY Taking inspiration from the likes of Bjork, Imogen heap, Vangelis and NitzzerEbb her music is a amalgamation of all those genres combined. Her debut album Panacea was composed, edited, performed, mixed, mastered, sang by her, in it’s entirety. THE FLIP PHONES: The Flip Phones blend modern musical stylings with classical inspiration to create quirky songs with catchy melodies. Featuring: Liz Watkins, Before The End, Elise Acoustic, and Modern Yesterday.SUNDAY, AUGUST 6$5 all tickets | $5 BYOB7pm show | 6pm doorsall agesLIZ WATKINS: Born in Indiana and raised in Delaware, Liz has been writing songs since she was 12. After dabbling on the piano and behind her brother’s drum set, she found the guitar to be the natural choice of instrument to develop her singing and songwriting skills. Her repertoire includes bossa nova, jazz, country, pop, motown and anything else that she might add to the setlist at the last second.BEFORE THE END: Before The End is a young 5 piece band of High School students from York Pa. They have been performing originals and covers now for almost two years. They are high energy, fun, hard hitting, funky and even a little electronic in nature. Think the B52s with funk and electronic vibes. ELISE ACOUSTIC: Elise is a solo acoustic artist, & singer/ songwriter based in the Philadelphia area. Her style is soulful, & upbeat, infused with blues & jazz notes, and an indie rock vibe. Playing a mix of original songs & songs from every decade, there is something in her sets for everyone! MODERN YESTERDAY: Modern Yesterday is a devoted, multi-instrumentalist teen rock band (13-17) from Philadelphia/Delaware County. The stories behind her songs offer unique and surprising topics that range from upbeat songs that make you dance in the living room to songs for a long drive. Owen is a singer-songwriter and emerging artist from Allentown, New Jersey.NORTH OF THA COVE: Solo project with some friends helping to even out the sound live, North of tha Cove is inspired by Twenty One Pilots, BoyWithUke and Paramore.MESH: Originating in Wilmington, DE, MESH gets its name through their blending of rock and roll, grunge, metal, indie and punk. Featuring Dylan Manarang on lead guitar accompanied by Calus Ahumada on ornamental guitar, and the rhythmic elements of Jarai Sampath on bass and Ben Sklodowski on drums. Their debut album, Until They Feel the Sun, with renowned producer Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters), garnered positive reviews internationally. The album was released at the Seaprog festival in 2019 and immediately placed Moon Letters in the vanguard of the new wave of American progressive rock. Their second album, Thank You From the Future, produced in Seattle by Robert Cheek (Band of Horses), was released in late 2022 and has been embraced by prog fans and reviewers. The album’s lyrics explore personal growth, the future of the world, and sci-fi imaginations of the space age. Musically, the band dances between complexity and immediacy, navigating odd time signatures, multi-part harmonies, and moving from the jarring and angular to the sweet and sublime. Fans of classic 70s progressive rock will likely find some familiar sonic handrails to hold while being whisked into new, more modern directions and complex territory. In addition to his work with the Nocturnals, Scott has written and recorded with Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), Willie Nelson, T Bone Burnett, Kenny Chesney, Alison Krauss, Mark Batson (Dr. Dre, Alicia Keys, Eminem) and others. Breaking into the music industry with her new hit single ‘If I could’ along with many others including ‘Testing my patience’, she is a brilliant young mind, with extraordinary musical versatility.About CAMERON NARIMANIAN: Cam Narimanian is a multi-instrumentalist alternative musician based in Wilmington, Delaware. He’s about 5’11” and once caught a firework flare with his right eye. Webb’s music moves gracefully through the Americana genre as he dashes in elements of rock, blues, and pop along the way. With around 20 years of writing and performing under his belt, his vivid storytelling, howling vocal, and distinctive cinematic approach to songwriting immediately sets him apart as a standout artist. All of this can be heard on his 2023 EP “Royal St. Ann Burgundy” available on major platforms to Stream or Download. Pat Kane is a Brandywine Valley native singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His genre-spanning style is firmly rooted in Americana and colored with overtones of psychedelia. Samantha Poole is a singer/songwriter from Wilmington, Delaware. As the lead singer of the Stone Shakers and a supporting vocalist in the Delaware Valley’s “The SNAP”, she explores a variety of genres, but when all is said and done she’s always most at home in world of country. You can hear the musical influences of Alison Krauss, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and Bonnie Raitt on her debut solo EP, Wild Ride, which was released in 2022. Jordan Leitner has been making music in Northern Delaware for 20 years. He’s performed and recorded with an array of bands, including Mad-Sweet Pangs, Spokey Speaky, Howl Train, and Brandwide Riders. In our new showcase series, we’ll be featuring incredible local songwriters for an evening of original music in a classic Songwriter Story Circle arrangement.July Showcase featuring: Mike McDevitt, Stephen Lyons, Rachel Folmar, and Chrissy Strong.FRIDAY, JULY 21$10 all tickets | $5 BYOB7pm show | 6pm doorsall agesMIKE McDEVITT is an award-winning Delaware-based singer/songwriter performing regularly in the quad-state area. His songs have been played on the radio domestically and internationally and his shows are passionate highlighting his touchingly beautiful and personal songs. His latest album, Delaware Bay, showcases 17 well crafted songs of love lost, love gained, life adventures and personal reflections. In fact, his songs are often described as “hauntingly beautiful and accessible chronicles of meeting life’s challenges head on, of self-discovery, of love lost, found and lost again.” He is a self-taught guitarist who has been performing live for many years. McDevitt’s songs tell real stories about real people. STEPHEN LYONS is an American actor, musician, producer and voice actor known for his edgy portrayals of characters with searing complexity, and intensity. Having played with the NYC band Bonfire Falls for a number of years, their mix of melodic pop/indie/folk has earned them a loyal fan base in the New York music scene. Originally from the Brandywine River Valley, Stephen also works as a historical activist and preserver.RACHEL FOLMAR is a singer and songwriter from Kennett Square, where she grew up writing and performing music. She’s currently a full-time student, but she’s thrilled to be working on her debut EP and to be back in Kennett playing her favorite hometown venues!CHRISSY STRONG is an emerging, indie singer/songwriter from Akron, Ohio. A self-taught musician, her songwriting is rooted in soulful, edgy piano ballads with the raw and free-flowing approach of muses like Tori Amos, Sarah, McLachlan, Agnes Obel, and Fiona Apple.
