The last Sunday of each month, the Flash will transform into an authentic jazz club, featuring a full concert as well as the opportunity for audience members to join in and jam! This unique experience is hosted by David Mattock and other local area jazz musicians.$15 suggested donation | $5 BYOB4pm doors | 5pm show—————————————————- A processing fee of $3.50 per advance ticket (for tickets $15.99 and under) or $5.00 (for tickets $16.00 and up) will appear on your order at check out. Learn more at www.ifnotformusic.org — If Not for Music is a 501 (c)(3) Pennsylvania nonprofit The Hansen-Protasi Group is a jazz sextet comprised of four horns, bass, drums, and occasional vocals. They bring fresh, inspired takes to jazz standards, while keeping classic energy that people will be familiar with. The concept of the group was inspired by such albums as You and Lee from Lee Konitz, and Birth of the Cool from Miles Davis. The nuanced writing on such albums compelled Nathan Hansen and Francesco Protasi to create an ensemble as a means for enhancing their composition/arranging and exercising their prolificacy. The result does not disappoint.
