The Kennett Flash Monthly Jazz Jam sponsored by MacElree Harvey Welcome to the JAZZ JAM! The last Sunday of each month, the Flash will transform into an authentic jazz club, featuring a full concert as well as the opportunity for audience members to join in and jam! This unique experience is hosted by David Mattock and other local area jazz musicians.$15 suggested donation | $5 BYOB4pm doors | 5pm show—————————————————- A processing fee of $3.50 per advance ticket (for tickets $15.99 and under) or $5.00 (for tickets $16.00 and up) will appear on your order at check out. This fee is waived when you purchase tickets at our box office. Box office hours: typically Tuesday-Friday from 11am-3pm and 1 hour prior to showtime. Sandy Eldred is an internationally acclaimed bassist, composer, producer, and music educator residing in Philadelphia, PA. He is known for his inventiveness and command across music genres. Eldred is the founder of record label, Each and Only, and is a recording artist for Ukrainian record label, LabelWhoAble. Eldred is the leader of U.S.E. Trio and the Sandy Eldred Trio. He is an active member of the Hiruy Tirfe Quartet, Multi Mansions, the Bogdan Gumenyuk Quartet, the Nick Lombardelli Quintet, the Michael Hudson-Casanova Sextet, Heyman, Combo Theory, the Earl Phillips Big Band, and Norman David & The Eleventet.

The ensemble incorporates earthy acoustic tones with electronic sounds to create a powerful mix of the past and the present. Jonathan’s compositions process his life as a black man, a father, a husband, and an artivist who believes in the power of music to illuminate challenging and complex societal issues. He believes music creates a space for bridges to be built, joy to be spread, and norms to be challenged.
