Hear Tell: After playing in other bands, Tyler Allen is taking a stab at the whole frontman thing. Accompanied by Jonathan Moore (bass/vocals) and James Donnelly (drums), Hear Tell is a demonstration of everything the trio love about music.

Retrospex: Three teenage friends from Philly/Delco area. We’ve played all over Philly and Delco as well as The Bitter End in NYC. We play all original songs.

Anna Ritchie: I’m a local singer-songwriter who loves writing and performing. 

Danny Dionysus: Singer/Songwriter was once signed in a metal band and now doing singer song writer stuff I want to share my music with as many people as I can.

The 2025 New Summer Sounds Series at The Kennett Flash is designed to highlight new local artists and provide a professional venue to showcase their talent as they compete in a Battle of the Bands format show where our finalists will compete for a $400 prize, 4 hours of recording time, and a chance to headline their own performance at The Kennett Flash!

The series will feature three (3) semi-final rounds, and one final round where our three (3) finalists will compete for:

• a $400 grand prize (sponsored by The Mattock School of Music) 
• 4 hours of recording time at The Mattock School of Music
• a chance to headline your own performance at The Kennett Flash!

Winners are chosen by a panel of judges made up of artists, volunteers, board and staff.
For the semi-final rounds, each artist will perform 3-4 songs.
For the final round, each artist will perform for 30 minutes.

In accordance with Pennsylvania law, we are now an all-in pricing venue, so the price that you see for our shows include all fees. Tickets are available at the door for all shows unless otherwise posted or sold out.

Opener (Level 2) and Headliner (Level 3) Members: Thank you for your support! Select your tickets using the price code that matches your Membership level and enter your Member ID into the prompt during the checkout process. With the shift in Pennsylvania venues requiring all-in pricing, we are still committed to the value of your membership. Level 2 and 3 Flash Members will still receive a discount based on the typical cost of the online fees, but it will vary from show to show.
