The Jazz Jam is back at The Kennett Flash! This event features a jazz concert from stellar local jazz artists followed by a jam session where our host invites musicians in the audience to join them on stage!
Ensemble Novo celebrates the windswept melodies and easygoing dance rhythms of Brazil. The Philadelphia-based group explores samba, bossa nova and contemporary Brazilian styles through the lens of improvisation, creating a warm, spacious, danceable yet perfect-for-chilling sound. The musicians balance crisp group execution with spirited solo explorations — the focus is on the vibes and moods you’d hear on Rio’s beaches or in some sleek hidden Sao Paulo cocktail lounge.
